CERT-FR joined the TF-CSIRT (Task Force – CSIRT) in 2002.
The TF-CSIRT is a working group which promotes collaboration and coordination between CSIRTs in Europe and neighbouring regions, while ensuring coordination with relevant organisations at a global level.
The group focuses its efforts on accessible and affordable services and meetings for European CSIRTs regardless of their sector, while serving as a relay for organisations such as FIRST, ENISA, government or security agencies.
In effective terms, the Task Force intends to:
- Offer qualitative training based on the work carried out within its community, but also outside the community;
- Organise regular meetings to forge a strong identity and promote mutual assistance;
- Increase the maturity level of incident response teams;
- Provide tools to meet the needs of the community.
